Amwins Program Underwriters (APU) is one of the operating companies of Amwins' Underwriting Division. For over 30 years, APU has specialized in affinity program management. We administer over thirty five programs generating more than $380 million in premiums and have binding authority and policy issuance capabilities with more than a half dozen “A” rated carriers. We distribute our programs through our national agency network of over 4,000 agencies. The Natural Gas Distributors insurance program is designed for publicly owned and investor owned natural gas utilities.
